In this hardcore cRPG in the vein of Baldur’s Gate and other Dungeons and Dragons epics, you’ll form a party and go on an incredible crusade while leading an army. Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is the second Pathfinder game from Owlcat Games. It involves taking off your armor for strategic supremacy. Thankfully, there’s a fun way you can easily cheese the fight that seems totally counterintuitive but makes perfect sense. On Unfair Difficulty, this fight can seem almost impossible. If you’re playing on the hardest difficulties, its even more unbeatable. Iron Gods? I would buy it.Hosilla and the Water Elemental is one of the most difficult boss fights in Pathfinder 2 - found deep in a dungeon, this pair can crush even the best prepared adventurers. I liked the refreshing story part and the level design was in my opinion very cool. It is sad when original poster and many other players get demotivated by the dungeon. Or rather being trapped between two walls getting closer. Therefore it feels like running into a wall. The way how you needed to think anew with their regenerations and immunities was refreshing. I mean: electricity against demons? Yeah, those traps were weird. The biggest issue I see is simply the fact that everything about the dungeons feels like from another world. I was surprised when I read it was a backer dungeon? If I knew I would have wanted to back the game too to have my own dungeon. But since it was limited I consider it okay. The design cut was rather harsh, and I would prefer my fantasy role play game not to go too extensive into Sci-Fi. It was strange, but it did feel great when I finished Blackwater. I felt the enemies were too tough for me, and I had already finished everything else on the map at that time. Took me just around half an hour compared to the three to five hours on my first attempt. But right now it is a breeze to go through that dungeon and I am having fun. I am not certain how much the encounters have reduced in strength since launch version. I always thought it is some Sci-Fi alternative world. In fact, WotR told me Numeria is part of the D&D/Pathfinder world to begin with. I remember the first time I entered Blackwater I thought something about the game is broken. I can understand original posters line of thoughts, I think. I want to have fun with my characters, don't want to make them all meta, to counter everything. When you're group battles enemies they can't really counter.♥♥♥♥ happens.easy mode xd. PS : Blackwater is pretty long iirc, guess when I'm honest I made some encounters more easy there anyway. (I even used Toybox to complete/skip the mission on Daeran's house, works fine as long as your are not on the mission map while doing so) Sometimes I just put on 0.2 dmg for team and wacky enemies.and rush trough. Not saying they are bad, but maybe not too exciting for the 5th time. I love to replay the game (didn't finish it on any off my 5 playtroughs yet), but some quests feel like a chore when replaying. The game is a lot more than just one side mission. If it isn't fun for you, story mode it and move on. I'm not a fan of sci-fi stuff in fantasy, especially when it comes out of nowhere, and the fights are too difficult for me to push through when I don't care.ĭon't burn yourself by throwing yourself at a brick wall.
